I donate my time each year in order to perform a large number of charity auctions each year (19 in 2010 alone) for a number of local non-profit organizations including Lions Clubs, Schools, Fire Departments, Gateway Museum, as well as benefit auctions supporting Special Olympics, Red Cross, St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, etc.; I conduct these auctions without compensation (I have never charged for a charity auction). I am a farm owner (formerly raised tobacco, but now raise only livestock, beef cattle and bison/buffalo). I love old cars (I have owned three 1957 Chevrolets. Currently I own a 1957 Chevy Bel Air two door post, a 1954 Chevy, and a 1953 Ford Jubilee, in addition to a restored 1981 Ford F250 Pickup).
Owner/operator Stanfield Real Estate and Auction Services, Tollesboro, Kentucky which I established in 2000, having worked previously in the real estate and auction business in another firm. I have successfully listed, marketed, and sold property to the Lewis County Fiscal Court (the current Tollesboro Industrial Park property) as well as to the Commonwealth of Kentucky (a 571 acre tract of land near Blue Licks State Park for preservation of an endangered plant species, Shortts Goldenrod). I have twice listed, marketed and successfully sold Lewis County properties consisting of in excess of 1,000 acres in size, acting as both listing and selling agent. I sell residential and multi-family real estate, commercial property, and both farm and recreational/ hunting acreages. Also, as I am an auctioneer, I have successfully marketed residential, commercial, and both agricultural and recreational acreages at auction, in addition to selling other types of property (antiques, farm equipment, collectibles, whole estates, and more) at auction.
While I sell all types of real estate (residential and multi-family, commercial property, and agricultural/recreational acreages), I love to market acreage and have invested in the equipment necessary to market acreage. I own a four-wheel drive vehicle and I own a four-wheel drive two-seater ATV with which I can show property. I have more than a typical knowledge of survey interpretation and have a Deed Plotter Computer Program. I also own a hand-held GPS unit, a desk-top planimeter, and my aerial photography programs allow me to estimate acreages if the approximate boundaries can be reasonably well determined on the aerial program. I own, access, and utilize color aerial photography of all of the BTADD Counties (Mason, Fleming, Lewis, Robertson, and Bracken Counties) including ability to estimate area (acreage) of boundaries; I have more than a passing knowledge of the GeoSync/GPS/GIS and E-911 mapping systems. I am well versed in the mapping of topography, soils, and FEMA flood hazard boundary, as well as wetland determination. I am intimately familiar with types of real estate ownership and various ways of transferring and taking title to real estate. I am also familiar with 1031 tax trades and 401(k) Roll-Overs
I send out monthly e-mails informing people of changes to our advertising (in addition, we send updates or notifications whenever properties are listed, auctions are scheduled, prices are reduced, etc.), and currently have in excess of 900 persons on our e-mail list. I own my own website (I actually own multiple websites) and love to use technology for marketing purposes (I sell a lot of property to non-residents, particularly for recreational and getaway purposes, and I could not afford to advertise to reach the out-of-state residents without the use of multiple websites, e-mail, and other technological devices).
